2008 Classes

"Kindermusik Young Child Curriculum"®

Location:   Central Boulder - Please call for details.

15 week sessions – once weekly for one hour.

Semester I (Glockenspiel):

Wednesdays 4:45 - 5:45 – August 27 - December 10 (no class on 11/26)
Thursdays 3:30 - 4:30 – August 28 - December 11 (no class on 11/27)

Semester III (Dulcimer):

Tuesdays: 4:45-5:45 – August 26 - December 9 (no class on 11/25)
Wednesdays: 3:30-4:30 – August 27 - December 10 (no class on 11/26)

Children will have fun learning to read music, understand fundamental musical concepts, and play pitched instruments in a small, intimate class environment.
Lots of singing, movement, instrument play, friendship and fun! Each semester focuses on different instrument - glockenspiel/dulcimer for Fall; glockenspiel/recorder for Winter/Spring.

Class Size:

• Class size is limited to 8 children with one teacher.
• Parents do not stay (although parents/caregivers are welcome to stay until their child feels comfortable)

Tuition:

• $285 for 15 weeks, with a sibling discount price of $265. Tuition includes CD, songbook, instrument, "at home" materials.
• One-time $15.00 registration fee for new families.

Discounts:

• $10.00 discount off tuition for returning families (from Fall semester only).
• New referral discounts (see below).
• Registration deadline for returning families is June 1 in order to receive discounts.

New Referral Discount Policy:

• Refer 2 Families – Receive 15% off tuition
• Refer 3 Families – Receive 50% off tuition
• Refer 4 Families – Tuition FREE!

To be eligible for referral discount, families must be new to the Kindermusik® Program with Mountain Song Music Studio, Inc. Families must all register within the same semester. Referred/referring families must register for the full semester. Not available with other discounts.

Make-Up Classes:

• Due to the structure of the class, make-up classes are determined on a space-available basis.

Refund Policy:

• Full refund up to 10 days prior to start date.
• After 10 days prior to start date and between 1st and 2nd class: tuition minus $75.00 fee.
• No refunds after 2nd class.
