About Kindermusik®

Age 4 to 7 is a wonderful time to introduce musical concepts in a more structured and formal context (while keeping the fun!) Children of this age group are ready and eager to learn the fundamentals of rhythm, melody, pitch and musical form, yet may not be ready for individual instrument instruction. Music integrated with movement, imagination, and creativity is developmentally appropriate and inspires a child’s enthusiasm and interest.

Each class integrates singing, movement, listening, creative expression, and instrument play. Children will learn the basics of pitch relationships, learn to read basic music notation, and learn to play simple pitched instruments each semester.

Kindermusik Summer Adventures Program

"Around the World" Curriculum —4 years to 7 years

Join us as we take a trip around the world exploring the music and culture of Japan, Africa, England, Mexico, and Germany. Each class integrates singing, movement, instruments, art, storytelling/imaginative play. Summer sessions are one week long (from 3-5pm) Mondays through Fridays throughout the summer. Each session contains the same content. Families typically register for one session. See schedule/registration link for details.
